Press Release - January 30, 2022

After more than fifteen months of tracking COVID-19 vaccination statistics in the United States, COVID Shot Count will be terminating all services on March 31, 2022.

As we observe a decline in vaccinations and transition into the beginning of an endemic, we feel that tracking vaccinations against COVID-19 as intimately as we have been is no longer necessary.

There are a handful of resources across the Internet that are and will continue tracking vaccination statistics in the United States and have been far more conducive to the deceleration of COVID-19 than we have ever been. If you wish to stay informed of vaccination statistics, we highly recommend regularly checking the CDC's website.

Nonetheless, we will closely monitor any updates regarding the U.S. Army vaccine that has reportedly been under development. If we feel that the official efficacy results of the vaccine is reflective of the rumors we have heard this past month, COVID Shot Count may decide to prolong or restore services and exclusively track those vaccinations as soon as they begin.

In the meantime, we would like to express our gratitude for those who have followed and frequented our website throughout the past year: thank you greatly.
